It is with sheer love and high honors to be part of hosting SACI very first extended Sisters Spiritual Retreat, destination St. Thomas Virgin Island. This trip is intended for us to have a spiritual hajj (journey) within through prayer, deep mediation, zirkring (chatting), and sisterly bonding.

This brochure was designed to give you an overview of the retreat with each day reflecting the principles of our faith (Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice) which we shall build upon in sisterly loving dialog and forms of actions. This retreat is not intended to be overly filled with activities which will have us more exhausted and absent of the true intent of the trip which is to be relaxed in a spiritual state of mind and being. This will be a time for us all to get still in actions so that we can hear clearly that small voice within.

We will need all Sisters to respect the outline schedule of the retreat; many months, days and hours went into the planning and dealing of the entire trip in hopes to create such a memorable experience that will live long after our journey has ended. Please utilized the helpful sisterly tips in order to make your journey relax and problem free. Sisters it shall be truly an amazing adventure of a spiritual journey re-connections. Allow this retreat to be a reward for all the tireless efforts, all the sacrifices made, all the love and committed hearts given to see this joint SACI project come into fruition.

Although the purpose of our first extended sister spiritual retreat may take on many facets for each Sister that well be participating; it is our hopes that this trip will be a method of pure cleansing, bonding, reconnecting and confirming ourselves with Allah, our faith of Islam, the teachings of our beloved Prophet Drew Ali and to each other.
